OREANDA-NEWS. November 30. In Tashkent first vice president of PJSC Stroytransgaz Leonid Bokhanovskiy took part in arrangements, connected with the visit to Republic of Uzbekistan of First Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation Sergey Ivanov.

In the course of the 10th session of Intergovernmental Commission on technical and economic cooperation between Russia and Uzbekistan Leonid Bokhanovskiy and Shavkat Mazhitov, first deputy chairman of NHC (National Holding Company) Uzbekneftegaz signed a protocol on starting of implementation of the investment project for construction of liquefied gas production unit  at Mubarek Gas Treatment Plant (GTP).  

The Project provides for construction and operation of production facilities for extended treatment of 12 bcm of natural gas per year. The enterprise will yearly produce 270 000 tons of liquefied gas and 70 000 tons of stable gas condensate. Production will be realized both, in the local market of Uzbekistan and abroad. The preliminary cost of construction makes US $ 220 million.

Realization of this Project will considerably increase the degree of natural gas processing and will allow bringing up to requirements of international standards entire volume of marketable gas produced at Mubarek GTP.

Participation in the joint venture, established for realization of the Project between Mubarek GTP and Stroytransgaz, as well as financing of the Project will be carried out on parity basis. 

For PJSC Stroytransgaz this is the first joint project with NHC Uzbekneftegaz. Its realization will promote development of Russian-Uzbek business partnership, and also will open possibilities for carrying out of other similar projects within the framework of development of mutually fruitful cooperation between NHC Uzbekneftegaz and PJSC Stroytransgaz.
