OREANDA-NEWS. On November 28, 2007 the European Union has put forth its last demand with regard to Ukraine's WTO accession, namely to revise its customs duty on exports, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

The EU is in constant touch with Ukraine to resolve the remaining issues on the customs duty, Spokesman of the EU Commissioner for External Trade Peter Power said. He underlined that this issue must be resolved before Ukraine's WTO accession process is concluded.

The meeting of the WTO's Working Party to address Ukraine's accession report is expected to take place in Geneva later this week.
