OREANDA-NEWS. November 28, 2007. Five new models of KAMAZ defense automotive equipment made their debut at the exhibition “Russian Producers and Provision of Armed Forces – 2007” in Moscow.

In the first place these are trucks of the promising Mustang production line – the most perfect automotive equipment which is now delivered to supply the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and many foreign countries. KAMAZ presented three vehicles with 6x4 wheel arrangement: KAMAZ-53502 tractive unit, KAMAZ-53503 side tractor and KAMAZ-53505 dumper. Till now there were only all-wheel models: 4x4, 6x6 and 8x8 in the Mustang family.

Also the attendees of the exhibition saw a new model of the bus on KAMAZ-43118 chassis (6x6). The passenger compartment of the vehicle for 24-26 people has a kitchen, a shower, a bathroom unit, very comfortable seats, and the chassis is equipped with an air suspension which ensures ride comfort.

Besides, there was presented the KAMAZ-63501 vehicle with the Multilift ML-10 self-loading system which was developed together with SAT Ltd. (Bryansk), and the mobile version of the diesel energy-power outfit produced by KAMAZinstrumentspetsmash OJSC.

V.I. Isakov – Head of the Rear Services of the RF Armed Forces, Deputy Minister of Defense of the RF, who visited the exhibition, appreciated highly the KAMAZ exposition. The organizers made special mention of it too. According to the results of the exhibition KAMAZ Inc. received a number of awards: the prize “For active collaboration with the Rear Services of the RF Armed Forces”, the first class prize for the KAMAZ-43118 vehicle, the gold medal “The Best Home Product 2007 – for the Armed Forces of Russia”.
