All-Russian Subscription Decade Revitalized Subscription Market
OREANDA-NEWS. On November 23, 2007 FSUE Russian Post drew the results of All-Russian subscription decade held from 26th October to 4th November, second in 2007, reported the press-centre of Russian Post.
The first one was held in June this year after that subscription circulation increased by 5%. Successful cooperation of employees of postal and media spheres can be traced as results of the current decade.
Thus, subscription circulations increased two times compared to the same period last year. The general subscription circulation increased by 41%. Tula region with its circulations increased over 5,5 times was marked of all the regions. The Primorie Territory and Kirov region saw the figures increased 4 times, as for Archangelsk, Kaluga, Kostroma, Novosibirsk and Rostov regions and the Republic of Bashkortostan increased over 3 times. Other 31 regions fixed 2 times growth of circulation.
According to the situation dated 10 November 2007 since the beginning of All-Russian subscription decade general subscription circulation amounted 14,3 mln in the country. It increased the figures by 13% compared for the same period last year.
Within the period of the decade all customers could subscribe for any newspapers and magazines for the first half year of 2008 with 20% discount for delivery press. Moreover, subscribers were also granted discount for the editions.
Russian Post cared of making the action as a holiday. The decade was accompanied with the concerts and meetings with creative groups. The arrangers held quizzes and competitions held in many regions of the countries. Post for instance arranged discount campaign in favor of day-care centers and socially unprotected citizens in several regions. Krasnodar territory with 164% subscription circulation growth compared to last year arranged bright performance. Russian Post’s affiliated branch in Kursk demonstrated 134% circulation growth arranged original Podpisal-show Pole Chudes. The participants guessed the names of editions and were given subscription as a present. M. Soboleva from Ekaterinburg became the most active subscriber in the country. She subscribed for different editions to the sum of 40, 000 rubles.
