OREANDA-NEWS. November 27, 2007. Recent power surges occurring at Azerenerji energy supply system caused technical flaws at Baku Oil Refinery Plant named after Heydar Aliyev and damaged cat cracker. Therefore, the cat cracker needed out-of-turn maintenance which resulted in high-octane gasoline and fuel gas shortage. The maintenance work is going to be finalized soon. In order to finish repair of the cat cracker by the end of the week, the experts of the plant are trying to seize all possible opportunities.
