The WTO Working Group will consider Ukraine's application for accession between November 30 and December 2, acting Economic Minister Anatoliy Kinakh told a Friday session of the Exporters Council. He expressed his hope for positive resolution, reported the Official website www.kmu.gov.ua.

The presidential secretariat expects the WTO inviting Ukraine to join it on December 19.

As EU Commission for Trade Peter Mandelson said Ukraine can complete all procedures by 2007 close and become a WTO member in 2008, which will foster the country's talks with the EU on a free trade area.

In November Ukraine signed the last needed protocol with Kyrgyzstan.
