LUKOIL Overseas Provided Charity Support in Bukhara
OREANDA-NEWS. On November 22, 2007 LUKOIL Overseas represented by its subsidiary LUKOIL Uzbekistan, the operating company of Kandym-Khauzak-Shady-Kungrad project, has provided charity support to the boarding school for visually impaired children in Bukhara (Republic of Uzbekistan), reported the press-centre of LUKOIL Overseas.
Computers and a special printer adapted for Braille alphabet were given to the pupils. Besides that the children received musical instruments, sporting equipment and audio. Total volume of charity support amounted to $46000.
During the solemn ceremony of handing the charity support over to the boarding school the children amateur talent group made a concert.
