Avlita Transferees UAH 11 Million of Taxes
OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2007. In the last 10 months, upon the results of its operational activity, Stevedore Company Avlita transferred more than UAH 11 million of taxes and duties to the budgets of all levels and state target funds (the amount corresponds to the tax deduction amount upon the results of operational activity of the Company for the previous year).
The payment volumes to the Sevastopol budget and off budget funds have significantly gone up. In particular, just over the 10 months of this year Avlita transferred more than UAH 6 million to the Pension Fund compared to UAH 5.8 million the year before. This was possible due to the growth in the level of salaries at the company. In total, in 2007 the Company is planning to transfer more than UAH 12 million to the budgets of all levels and state target funds.
Stevedore Company Avlita is a city-forming enterprise and one of the major donors of Sevastopol budget. The growth in tax payments from operational activity is the result of dynamic development and well considered investment policy of Avlita. “By investing into the Company we create conditions for the growth of each employee and for the growth of economy of the whole city. And in order to ensure the growth of the company we intend to invest dozens of millions dollars into it – noted Oleg Karpov, the General Director of “Avlita”. “In 2007 we increased salaries by an average 28% and at present the average level of salary is UAH 2,539. The growth in production and labor efficiency will make it possible to ensure further growth of salaries and tax deductions.
