OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2007. Minister of Agriculture of Russia Alexei Gordeev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Russian Agricultural Bank Yuri Trushin and President of Credit Agricole Group Rene Carron met in Paris to discuss the prospects of mutual cooperation between RAB and Credit Agricole Group.

The main topics on the agenda were increase in the volumes of trade finance in bilateral trade, purchase of agricultural equipment, machines and pedigree livestock. The strategic plans and expansion policy of Credit Agricole Group in Eastern Europe and Russia was one of the issues discussed. The participants of the meeting also touched upon the issues of expanding cooperation in exchange of business experience, training methods, knowledge of modern technologies and best practices in the banking sphere.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed that Russian Federation would withdraw temporary restrictions for import of pedigree livestock from France.
