Inprom's CEO Igor Konovalov Receives Award at Metal Expo - 2007
OREANDA-NEWS. On November 19, 2007 Inprom CEO Igor Konovalov received an award of the 1st national contest "Person of the Year in Metallurgy and Steel Distribution Industry in 2007", in the citation "The Most Dynamic Growth," at the Metal Expo -2007 forum, held in Moscow, reported the press-centre of Inprom.
The organizers hailed Inprom's regional expansion and effective management of the company's network of steel service centers across Russia.
Pursuing its expansion strategy Inprom increased its network to 28 branches , with 6 branches established in 2007: in Kazan, Izhevsk, and Ufa, the administrative centers of Russia's republics of Tatarstan, Udmurtia, and Bashkortostan, respectively, and in regional centers Samara, Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk.
Inprom's nationwide network of steel service centers, each equipped with the most modern steel processing machinery, is set to grow by 14 more branches by the year 2012, according to the company's business plan. The contest was organized by Russian magazine Metal Supply and Sales, Metallotorg.Ru, with the support of the Russian Union of Metal Suppliers.
