OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2007. The plant’s employees had another opportunity to get answers to the questions they were concerned in from one of the top managers of the plant. It is reasonable that due to the comprehensive audit of QMS and EMS carried out at the plant at present the plant’s employees in particular went into problems on the environment protection, implementation of new fuel rod manufacturing processes which minimized a hazardous impact on the environment (without etching and anodizing, assembling without lacquer) as well as problems on further centralization of the plant’s departments.

I. Petrov, giving comments to the plant’s environmental activities, said that “ in the first half year of 2007 the program to refuse ozone-destroying substances was implemented and at present such chemical elements are completely eliminated from the manufacturing processes. More other we are developing technologies which will allow us to minimize the use of the chemical substances.” 

Besides, the conference touched the issue of developing the auxiliary production being a part of the program for creating a new look of Mashinostroitelny Zavod which had been approved by the Board of Directors.     

Earlier the plant’s employees had an opportunity to communicate with the Director General O. Kryukov and Head of Instrumentation and Automation Department.
