OREANDA-NEWS. November 21, 2007. International Steel Industry Forum took place in Moscow. At the Forum Far Eastern Transport Group (DVTG) was represented by M. Salykin, Head of Department for Cargo Haulage on Open Rolling-stock.

The Forum participants got acquainted with the new routes of metal haulage, the recent development trends of the global freight market. Within the network of the Forum the 5th annual conference “METALLURGICAL СARGOES TRANSPORTATION” was held. In the course of the conference many burning issues were touched upon, including the improving the state railway tariff policy. The issue of transport service and infrastructure development was also paid much attention to.
Far Eastern Transport Group actively transports metals in cooperation with the leading Russian steel works. The company also transports petroleum products, lumber, coal, containers and other cargos.
