OREANDA-NEWS. November 20, 2007. Turkish broker AON Re Turkey (territorial division of the world's largest broker company AON) held in Istanbul a meeting of Turkish companies, including those from Northern Cyprus, with the purpose of reinsurance contracts renewal. At the invitation of organizers the chief underwriter of OJSC "Transsiberian Re" "European bureau" Mr. Alexander Milakhin took part in it. He was the sole representative of the Russian Federation.

Alexander Milakhin reported on the situation and last trends in the Russian insurance and reinsurance market. The report was prepared under the request of organizers of the meeting. Besides Alexander presented parameters of reinsurance capacity offered by "Transsiberian Re". The report was prepared in English.

Upon termination of the report the chief underwriter of "Transsiberian Re" Alexander Milakhin answered questions of insurers participating in the meeting.

Turkish market takes rather important place in an inward portfolio of the Corporation: according to the results for 2006 approximately 10 % of receipts from the the far abroad countries falls on the share of the Turkish market.
