OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2007. On thermal power station-14 works on realization of the large project of investment program of JSC " TGC-9 " are continued - under the plan the working electric power of power station will increase on 85 MGw.

The Perm thermal power station-14 provides with thermal and electric energy of inhabitants and the enterprises of the Kirov area of Perm. During the heating period power of station is used on 80-90 %, and in summer - not less than 50 %. The tendency of maximal use of the equipment of thermal power station will be kept in the nearest future.

For the decision of a problem of power deficit in Perm-zakamsk power unit JSC " TGC-9 " is going to realize on PTPS-14 the large investment project. In the middle of 2008 on thermal power station it is planned to enter new turbine T-35/55-1,6 the maximal power 55 MGw. Input of the new turbine is supposed to be carried out on a place of the turbine, which worked at station more othen 40 years. In the spring 2007 it was stopped and dismantled. Now works on installation of the base were completed at station and there is a preparation for installation of the new equipment.

Simultaneously on thermal power station a reconstruction of stood idle backward pressure turbines R-50 (s. №3) is carried out. It is planned, that within the limits of realization of investment project, this problem will be solved: new turbine T-35/55 can use pairs reconstructed turbine R-50 in the work. Preparation of the equipment for start-up approaches to the end. By the end of November - to the beginning of December it is planned to finish all assembly and start-and-adjustment works.

The project on input before standing idle backward pressure turbines will be the second similar experience in Urals Mountains. Earlier similar input was carried out in January 2007. On Chaykovskaya thermal power station-18 - branch of JSC " TGC-9 ". Uniqueness of the investment project on the Perm thermal power station-14 consists that the scheme of steam lines will allow to work to new turbine T-35/55 not only from steam selection reconstructed R-50, but also from collectors of perfect pair from other turbines. It is supposed, that such decision will provide flexibility and a maneuverability of the equipment of thermal power station-14 that presumes to optimize loading of the generating equipment and will increase reliability of power supply of consumers of station.
