OREANDA-NEWS. November 16, 2007. The 9-month net profit of Tverskoy Wagon Works (RAS) gained 230.5mln rub. or 1.6 fold higher prior year (364.63mln rub.).

The revenues rose 8% to 12.38mln rub. from 11.46mln rub.; gross profit coming to 1.32bn rub. from 1.52bn rub.; profit from sales - 713.26mln rub. from 890.15mln rub.; pretax profit being up 356.2mln rub. from 527.38bn rub.

TVZ is one of the leading producers of carriages in Russia and CIS. The major holder is Russia state property (42.5%), 25% are held by Transmashholding.

The 2006-net profit rose (RAS) 44.8% to 266.8mln rub. from 184.25mln rub.; revenues - 15.307bn rub. from 11.376bn rub.
