OREANDA-NEWS. VNIIGAZ hosted Autodesk workshop devoted to new solutions in the field of CAD and GIS systems based on Autodesk software, the company's press service reports. VNIIGAZ specialists together with representatives of other Gazprom subsidiaries (VNIPIgazdobycha, Giprospetsgaz, Mostransgaz, Yamburgazdobycha, and VNIIGAZ affiliate - SeverNIPIgaz) took part in the event.

Andrey B. Skrepnyuk, Deputy General Director of VNIIGAZ, welcoming participants at the opening ceremony of the Autodesk workshop, emphasized significance and relevance of such events for the development of CAD. He also expressed confidence that workshop's experience will help enhance marketability of Gazprom's products and services.

Representatives of Autodesk and its partners (Neolant Co., Real Geo Project, Petrostroysistema, Byuro SAPR, Institute for SAPR and GIS Technologies, NIP Informatika, ЕМТ Р Co.) delivered presentations at the workshop.

The round-up Conference meeting summarized the most important issues of gas pipeline integrity, reliability and technical state outlook. An exceptional atmosphere of the event created a positive attitude towards workshop's targets. So the reports about successful implementation of Autodesk CAD and GIS systems in Gazprom subsidiaries gave rise to a lively discussion.
