OREANDA-NEWS. November 15, 2007. Sevmash Director General Nikolay Kalistratov has met with enterprise workers for the first time.

On the eve of his 100 days as Sevmash Director General Nikolay Kalistratov met with workers for the first time. Workers, brigade leaders, foremen and heads of services and shops gathered in foyer of the largest slip way shop. Nikolay Kalistratov mentioned the main problems of the enterprise: financial (miscalculations in evaluating repair works on aircraft carrier “Admiral Gorshkov”) and personnel (enterprise is short of main production workers) and suggested ways of their solution. Today negotiations are held regarding giving Sevmash credit, and from the 15th of December salary of the workers will be increased on 15%.

After brief speech everybody could ask questions. The main topic was salary of certain category of workers. Such meetings with workers are planned to be arranged regularly.
