ROSNO Wins Tender for Insurance Coverage of Open-Air Museum
OREANDA-NEWS. November 14, 2007. ROSNO’s Vladimir branch has concluded a contract for insurance of civil liability arising from operation of hazardous industrial objects.
The contract contemplates insurance coverage for the museum’s 5 boiler rooms, and the aggregate insurance amount is 5,500,000 roubles.
Founded in 1958, Vladimir-Suzdalsky Open-Air Museum became one of the first Russian open-air museums. Vladimir-Suzdalsky Museum comprises 54 architectural landmarks of 12th -early 20th centuries. Among them are unique whitestone architectural landmarks of Vladimir and Suzdal created in 12th -13th centuries and large ensembles converted into museums, such as Suzdal citadel and Spaso-Yevfimiev monastery, as well as the richest Crystal Museum in Gus-Khrustalny.
The insurance contract covers property interests related to the insurant’s obligation to reimburse any damage inflicted to third parties as result of a breakdown or other incident that may occur at the hazardous industrial objects operated by the insurant. 3 federal-scale insurers participated in the tender.
