On November 09, 2007 the Government of the Russian Federation decreed to appoint the following people to represent the Russian Federation in the Council of ITER Organization: I.Borovkov, the head of the staff of the Governmental Military Industry Committee-the deputy head of the staff of the Government of the Russian Federation; Y.Velikhov, the president of Kurchatov Institute; I.Kamenskikh, the deputy head of the Federal Agency for Nuclear Energy (Rosatom); S.Mazurenko, the head of Federal Agency for Science (Rosnauka), reported the press-centre of Rosatom.

The deputy executive manager of the Coordinating Center “Controlled Thermonuclear Synthesis – International Projects” V.Vlasenko and the deputy head of department of Rosatom V.Korzhavin have been appointed as member of ITER Consultative Committee on Administrative Questions.

The head of department of Rosatom T.Vorobyova has been appointed into Committee on Financial Audit, the director of the Institute of Nuclear Synthesis of Kurchatov Institute V.Smirnov and the director general of the Research Institute of Electro-Physical Equipment O.Filatov – into Scientific and Technical Committee.
