OREANDA-NEWS. November 13, 2007. "Energy generated by our generation operations should be competitive, sellable. No other way". This is the task by President of Republic of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev put during the visitation to "TATEK" plant in Zainsk.

During the visitation President familiarized with the new technologies in electro-technical industry, that are realized at this plant site. The JSC "ТАTЭК" (Tatarstan Electro-Technical Company) was founded by initiative of JSC "Tatenergo" in February 2005 to organized production in Tatarstan of block set transformer substations and parts to them by Schneider Electric technology. Production is organized on the former territories of plant "Kamaz-Avtoagregat" in Zainsk. On 11 May 2007 was cast the reinforced concrete constructions of the first block transformer substation (BKTP). For production of BKTP the parts of Schneider Electric are used. Capacity of production at this stage is over 120 BKTP per year. After opening the second line the capacity will increase to 200 BKTP per year.

Mintimer Sharipovich visited the site for adapting the mono-blocks RM-6, made in France. Here specialists of JSC "TATEK" modify the standard set of mono-blocks RM-6 for bringing in accordance with Russian terms, and where necessary – furnishing the mono-blocks with additional functions.

Founding the JSC "Tatarstan Electro-Technical Company" became the first step to developing in Republic the entire cycle of advanced equipment production. This year started work the Urussu electro- mechanical plant, specializing in production and repair of set transformer substations. In December this year "Tatheatinsulation" plans to open the plant for production of pipes with foam polyurethane insulation in hydro-proof coating using equipment of Finnish company KWH Pipe. In December on base of production site "Timer" in Stolbishche the opening of plant for production of the set distribution devices is planned together with production association "Eltehnika", Saint-Petersburg. In February next year together with this entity, is planned the opening of line for production of low voltage devices "NEVA". Besides in Stolbishche will be produced the cables and conductors. The "PPTK, Ltd" next year will open the plant for production of transformers. Presently the partner is chosen for the project.

Assessing the utilized on territory of "TATEK" new technologies, Mintimer Sharipovich emphasized that this is done to sell the energy. "Now you are on the market and you cannot ban the sales on the market. Market stimulates to price reduction and resource saving and investment attraction. By 2011 the prices will be liberalized completely. All volumes of electricity consumption will be sold in market prices. This is the reality that we must get ready to", - President summoned.

President of Tatarstan in business trip to Zainsk municipal district was accompanied by the head of Zainsk municipal district Rinat Fardiev, Minister of Economy of RТ Marat Safiullin, F-General Director of JSC "Tatenergo" Ilshat Fardiev and other officials.
