OJSC TGC-9 Received the Certificate of Readiness
OREANDA-NEWS. November 12, 2007. Power stations and heating networks of the Company are ready for reliable and continuous heat and power supply to consumers of Perm Territory, Sverdlovsk Region and the Komi Republic during the winter period.
The certificate of readiness was given to the Company according to the results of special inspections conducted at 23 power stations and 4 heating networks. The Commission included the representatives of Emergency Control and Civil Defense Ministry, territorial departments of Rostechnadzor, technical departments of the Executive Body of TGC-9. They inspected the networks and power stations in regards to operability of the equipment, availability of technical documentation, personnel qualification, and standard fuel reserve. The first TGC-9 branches which received the certificate of readiness were Perm Heating Networks, Chaikovsk HPP-18, Novo-Sverdlovsk and Sverdlovsk HPP’s.
Within the preparation for the heating season the necessary complex of works on diagnosis and repair of equipment was performed. So, for instance there were repaired the boiler units with total capacity of 5128t/h, at that within the capital repair there were repaired 13 units, mid-life repair – 15, current repair – 103. There was completed the repair of turbo units with total capacity of 476MWt, including the capital repair of 11 units, mid-life repair – 1 unit, current repair – 61 units. There were repaired the water-boilers with accumulated capacity of 500Gcal, including capital overhaul of 5 pieces, current – 39. Under the year repair program there was completed the relocation of 29,05km of heating networks in one-pipe evaluation.
Within the preparation for the autumn-winter maximum there was formed the necessary stock of reserve fuel at TGC-9 power stations. So, as of November 8, the Company has the stock of 625,2 thousand tons of coal, at planned figure of 448,4 thousand ton, and 165,2 thousand ton of black oil, at planned figure of 122,9 thousand ton. There were concluded the long-term contracts on gas supply. Such organizational and technical actions as inspection of all buildings and constructions, warming of some areas, proactive inspections and testing of power units, personnel training were performed at all enterprises.
The Commission confirmed the readiness of TGC-9 for operation during the autumn-winter period, as well as noted the high level of preparation of the Company’s branches for operation under high loads conditions.
