Kurchatov Institute Is Organizing Conference
OREANDA-NEWS. November 07, 2007. The conference is to take place at Kurchatov Institute (1 Academician Kurchatov Square, Moscow) Nov 26–30 2007. The event is being organized with the support of the Federal Agency for Science and Innovations in the framework of the Federal Target Program “Research and Development in the Priority Fields of the Scientific-Technological Complex in 2007–2012.” The information partner is Atom Innovation Center, reported the press-centre of Atom Innovation Center.
Leading scientists and specialists of research organizations and universities of Russia as well as young researchers, teachers, post-graduates and students are expected to attend the conference. The key topics are the results and the prospects of research in the field of physics of nano-systems and materials, including super-conductors, with the use of sources of neutron and synchrotron radiation; development of information exchange and involvement of young scientists in this process; involvement of young specialists in prospective research in the priority fields of science and technologies of Russia.
The young conferees will be able to make reports and to present the results of their work to their experienced colleagues. This is very important for ensuring continuity of generations in the sphere of science and integration of youths into professional science.
The conferees will analyze the situation in the sphere of research and will consider new methods aimed at improving the consumer qualities of scientific products and enhancing their competitiveness in the world. The conference will be a good training for young specialists.
