OREANDA-NEWS. November 9, 2007.The experts of the Open Society "RN-Krasnodarneftegaz" ("daughter" of Rosneft) have opened the new oil field - East-Chumakovskoe in the Krasnodar territory. It is already the third deposit in the perspective estuarine- low-lying zone of the Slavyansko-Temryuksky license site located in the Temryuksky area, is spoken in the report of "RN-Krasnodarneftegaz".

Earlier, in 2005, the high-yield Chumakovskoe deposit has been opened on the Slavyansko-Temryuksky site, and in 2006 - the gas-condensate deposit "YuMG".

Drilling of the first chink on the East-Chumakovsky site has begun in the spring of 2007. It was carried out by forces of the Krasnodar branch of the Open Society "RN-Drilling" and has been finished by test of the chink in October.

At the moment by the results of the lead hydrodynamic researches it is defined optimum debit of the chink and stocks of the deposit are estimated. On the tentative estimations the debit of the chink can make 120 - 200 ton of oil a day. As Krasnodarneftegaz marks, opening of the new deposit confirms prospects of search drilling in this area.

The Open Society "OC "Rosneft" is the largest oil company in the Russian Federation. Its proved stocks in 2006 on classification SPE have increased up 6.1% to 20.089mlrd barrels. Within 2006 the company has increased oil recovery up 7.8% to 582.7mln barrels, extraction of gas - up 4.2% to 13.58mlrd cube m. Manufacture of mineral oil has reached 22.66mln ton, that is 6.6% exceeds the level of 2005. The net profit of Rosneft on US GAAP in 2006 has made $3.533mlrd, the proceeds - $33.099mlrd.

The authorized capital of the company is equal 105.981mln rbl. For this sum 10598177810 ordinary shares by face value of 0.01 rbl are emitted. The largest shareholder of the company is state Rosneftegas with 75.16% in the authorized capital. The Open Society "RN-Razvitiye", under controllable by Rosneft, owns 9.44% of shares, former minority shareholders of Rosneft have 2.08%. Large share holdings of Rosneft during IPO Gazprombank and a number of private investors have got. To the citizens of the Russian Federation less than 1% of shares of the oil company belong, to the management and members of the Board of directors of Rosneft - 0.179% of shares.
