OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ Inc. and Sergey Kogoghin, its Director General, received prizes at VIII All-Russian competition “1000 Best Russian Enterprises and Organizations - 2007”.

The solemn ceremony took place in the State Kremlin Palace at the All-Russian Trade and Finance Forum “New Competitive Russia and World Economic Progress”. The jury included such authoritative high-ranking people as Mikhail Nikolayev - Deputy Chairman of the RF Council of Federation, Ivan Silayev - Vice-President of the International Engineering Workers Guild, Hero of Socialist Labour and Andrey Bunich - President of Russia’s Union of Entrepreneurs and Leaseholders. Their decision was announced in August, and the prize presentation was held early in November. KAMAZ received the award and the commemorative medal for high production achievements in 2007, and Sergey Kogoghin, Director General, was presented with the commemorative decoration “Gold Star”.
