OREANDA-NEWS. On November 05, 2007 Raiffeisen Bank Aval has been named the best employer among the banks of Ukraine according to the results of GfK Ukraine’s research, performed on the demand of the Korrespondent magazine, reported by the bank’s PR Department, reported the press-centre of Raiffeisen Bank Aval.

As the editor’s article notes, Raiffeisen Bank Aval has become a clear leader so as "being an ideal employer", it has received twice as many votes as the other two Ukrainian banks, both ranking second in the banking segment.

In addition, by the results of the research, Raiffeisen Bank Aval named among three best employers within the frames of the country’s employers total rating, while MTS and KyivStar have been ranked second and third, respectively.

The rating has been compiled by GfK Ukraine on the demand of the Korrespondent magazine for the second time running; the first study was performed in 2006, when Raiffeisen Bank Aval was ranked second in the banking segment.

The rating comprises employers in the most dynamic industries.

According to the Korrespondent, to receive the required data, GfK Ukraine has performed a telephone opinion poll of the experts, responsible for HR management in 500 large companies: banks, insurance companies, retail trade, FMCG (food and tobacco industries, perfumes and cosmetics production) and communication companies. It resulted in two ratings: a segment rating and a total rating of employers.

"The given study provides the vision of an employer’s reputation, so as it analyzes an external, not internal perception of the employing company", the Korrespondent notes.
