OREANDA-NEWS. Geidar Aliev's Foundation and URALSIB Financial Corporation have signed a cooperation agreement in Baku, reported the press-centre of URALSIB.

The memorandum was signed by the President of the Foundation, Ms. Mehriban Aliev, and the Chairman of board of directors of URALSIB Financial Corporation, Nikolai A. Tsvetkov. The document will form the basis for cooperation in the social sphere. The first project will be the construction of a new building for the children's rehabilitation center, Origamy, and supplying the center with modern equipment.

The project is scheduled to begin soon. The land plot for construction has been allocated and preparation work is underway. At present the rehabilitation center, Origamy, is located in the town of Byulbyulya near Baku. There are about 70 children who need special care and attention living there.

After the signing ceremony, Ms.Mehriban Aliev and Nikolai A. Tsvetkov discussed present activities and possible further cooperation between the Foundation and URALSIB Financial Corporation in education, culture, medicine and other spheres.
