OREANDA-NEWS. In January-October 2007, Commercial Seaport of Iljichevsk (Ukraine) increased container transshipment by 64%, year-on-year, to 415,600 TEU.

In October, the port doubled container turnover to 61,800 TEU. The port of Iljichevsk is one of four largest ports of Ukraine. In 2006, it decreased cargo transshipment by 0.8%, year-on-year, to 14.8 million tonnes.
