OREANDA-NEWS. OMZ (Uralmash-Izhora Group) announced that its OMZ Special Steels unit has successfully passed an inspection of the North-European Interregional Territorial Division of the Federal Service for Environmental, Technology and Nuclear Control (Rostechnadzor). The inspection was intended to check the company's fulfillment of requirements for the licensed production of nuclear power plant equipment.

According to the OMZ press service, the results of the inspection confirmed that all standards and requirements for the production of equipment for the nuclear industry are being fulfilled, and the company is conforming to its license’s terms and requirements.

OMZ Special Steels produces metallurgical semi-finished products made of steels with special properties designed for usage in nuclear industry.
