Ukraine Stops Electricity Exports to Poland
OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian monopoly electricity exporter had long-term contracts with its Polish client Zomar S.A. at USD0.028 per kWh while the current price on the domestic wholesale market is about USD0.05.
While the situation is being reconsidered by all interested parties and, possibly, new contracts will be signed, this idle period is detrimental to Zakhidenergo < .ZAEN UZ USD122.12 Hold . >, which will see its electricity deliveries to Poland curtailed.
