OREANDA-NEWS. On October 29, 2007 the SOGAZ Insurance Group has provided CAR/EAR coverage for the restoration of the main Volga embankment in Astrakhan. The river bank protection and improvement of the embankment are carried out as part of the programme for the preparation for the celebration of the city’s 450th anniversary, reported the press-centre of SOGAZ.

The construction of the embankment is entrusted to VIS Production Firm Ltd. The insurance cover under the agreement has totalled 1,827 billion roubles.
