OREANDA-NEWS. November 2, 2007. "Metallosnabzheniye I sbyt”: 50,800 t of steel were produced in September of 2007 by the Zlatoust Metallurgical Plant. Roll production totaled 36,000 t; and 36,000 t of products were shipped to consumers. Production of calibrated steel and steel with a special surface finish has stabilized. Currently the average monthly steel production amounts to approximately 2,700 t.

Production of steels smelted by way of vacuum arc and electroslag remelting, and of construction ball bearing section steel, tool and quick-cutting steel was increased. Stainless roll production was increased by 3.8%.

Over the 9 months of 2007 the plant produced 465,600 t of steel (6% increase to the results of the similar period of the previous year) and 329,300 t of roll (6.1% growth). The average monthly production of steel at the ZMP exceeds 51,000 t and roll production – 36,000 t.
