$30 mln to Be Channeled into Modernization of Spartak Paper Factory
OREANDA-NEWS. About $30 million will be channeled into upgrade of Spartak paper factory, chairman of the Bellesbumprom concern Vladimir Shulga told reporters. Prime Minister of Belarus Sergei Sidorsky visited the factory, reported the Official website www.government.by.
According to Vladimir Shulga, the funds will consist of bank loans, the innovation fund of the Energy Ministry, own funds of the company. The factory plans to buy an up-to-date corrugator, a line producing corrugated boxes and a new papermaking machine with the production capacity of 50 tonnes of toilet paper a day. Due to the new equipment the quality and the output of corrugated board and toilet paper will be increased while the energy consumption will be reduced.
By the end of the year all the documents will be ready. The new equipment will be bought and mounted in 2008. In 2009, it will be put in operation.
Now Spartak produces about 2,5 million square meters of corrugated board, 1,900 tones of corrugated paper, 200 tonnes of toilet paper. The factory also produces wrapping and wallpaper. Over 40% of the output is exported to the CIS.
