On October 29, 2007 Bank CenterCredit JSC (Almaty), shares and bonds of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list had spread the press-release in which is informed about successful finishing of certification in Visa payment system for issuing of chip cards VSDC (Visa Smart Debit Credit), reported the press-centre of KASE.

"Transfer to chip technologies on the contrary to former magnetic cards supposes more high level of safety of cards and comfort in servicing. It will let to maximally decrease the risks of bank and also protect the holders of chip cards form possible rascally operations and fakes. Microprocessor card is more technological and gives more opportunities for development. Further it may become not only payment, but bonus, discount or club card. Total replacement of all magnetic cards to microprocessor is expected in the nearest two years", - is said in the press-release.

Bank have the status of Principle member of payment system Visa since September 2005 and servicing cards through own processing center.
