OREANDA-NEWS. October 30, 2007. Over the period since January to September this year Novosibirsk Metallurgical Plant named after Kuzmin has increased its shipment of marketable flat section by 8% year on year to 142,000 t.

According to a plant representative, over the above period the company shipped approximately 105,000 t (+3%) of hot-rolled strip, 28,000 t (+28%) of hot-rolled sheet, 6,000 t (+6%) of cold-rolled sheet, while the shipped volume of cold-rolled strip remained unchanged since last year – overall, about 4,000 t.

Notably, in September NMP named after Kuzmin reduced its shipments of flat section by 27% compared with August – to 14,000 t. The main reason for such decrease is reduced supply of strip from the pipe plants of the ESTAR Group – the Volgograd Small Diameter Pipe Plant and Engels Pipe Plant. Thus, in September shipments to the above enterprises totaled about 6500 t of strip (against 10,000 t in August).
