OREANDA-NEWS. In 2008, Southern Telecommunications Company plans to increase its network digitization rate in the city of Sochi to 100%, the company's press service reported. Implementation of the project on the basis of NGN-solutions will allow the Company to strengthen its position in the region. Next year "UTK" PJSC plans to invest 250 million rubles in the Sochi network development, thus ensuring quick response to growing demands of corporate clients, improvement of the traditional services quality and widening the area of broadband services provision under conditions of the region's rapid development.

This year the following largest enterprises of Sochi have become the corporate clients of "UTK" PJSC: CJSC Transservice, bank Moscow Capital, Uniastrum Bank, ImpexBank, Sochi branch of All-Russia State TV and Radio Broadcasting Company, health centers Moskva and Zarya, Coca-cola HBC Eurasia Ltd. and many others. "Such well-known companies as Millennium Engineering, IKEA, СК PUTEVI, GRAS have already opened their representative offices in the city of Sochi. All of them are our clients. The company GRAS will build a district of elite houses in Sochi with the population over 10,000 people which is comparable to a regional center. UTK managers had entered into negotiations with the companies even before the construction work started,"  Marketing Director of "UTK" PJSC Arkady Samoilov stated.

The marketing policy of "UTK" PJSC provides for individual work with each existing and potential corporate client, granting discounts, QoS improvement and increase in customers' loyalty, modern technical solutions and implementation of exclusive projects.

At present, the installed capacity of UTK's network in Sochi exceeds 130 thousand lines, 118 thousand of them being equipped, thus representing equipped capacity ratio of 90.3%. The network digitization rate is estimated at 74%. More than 50 access nodes provide broadband access to the Internet network. By the end of 2007 Southern Telecommunications Company plans to increase the installed capacity to 9 thousand ports which will allow the Company to satisfy in full the demand for broadband access service in the city of Sochi.

Data transmission network in the region has been built using most advanced equipment. Both its carrying capacity and the number of access nodes can be increased. It is advanced technologies only that can ensure high quality and wide range of infocommunication services to be provided in the capital of 2014 Winter Olympics.
