OREANDA-NEWS. October 26, 2007. New high debit well № 300 in the platform № 8 of “Gunashli” field of “28 May” OGED was put into commission. The daily debit of the well is 100 tons of oil and 138 thousand cubic meters of gas in 2956-meter depth. The well was drilled by “Bayil Limani” Offshore Exploration Drilling Department. Only 24 wells was planned to be drilled in the platform № 8, which has been exploited since 1994. 4 thousand tons of oil and 1.5 million cubic meters of gas is a daily debit of the platform. At the same time, drillers put the well № 91 in the platform № 19 into commission. Initial debit of the well is 150 thousand cubic meters of gas and 40 tons of oil. Since the beginning of the year, 8 new high debit wells have been put into commission in “Gunashli” field. Five more wells will be drilled by the end of this year.
