Russian Post Will Promote Subscription Campaign
OREANDA-NEWS. Head of Directorate of Commercial Affairs Y. Vinogradova in FSUE Russian Post told of the current trends in subscription market and new measures taken by the enterprise to promote subscription campaign at XII International Seminar of Association of Printing Production Distributors “Russian Mass Media Market – 2008: new plans, contracts and technologies” held 8-12 October, 2007 in Turkey.
Y. Vinogradova noted positive dynamics in last subscription campaigns and stable growth of subscription circulations since 2nd half-year of 2006. Final results of 1st half-year campaign showed that subscription circulations granted by post grew by 5.6%. As for general subscription turnover, it increased by14.6%.
In accordance with recommendations of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation the changes in tariff system performed by Russian Post Y. Vinogradova pointed out implementation of unification of tariffs since the first half year of 2008, i.е. establishment of unified tariff rates for all editions to be implemented within the next four subscription stages. Presently non-discriminate order of discount for subscribers of all the categories is already established. The work group represented by Russian Post, Federal Antimonopoly Service, Rossviyaz and subscription agencies will define the mechanism of cooperation between FSUE Russian Post and subscription agencies to issue catalogues with final subscription prices, added Y. Vinogradova.
Among the events to promote subscription campaign Y. Vinogradova emphasized all-Russian Subscription Decade successfully arranged and performed by Russian Post. She also noted development and introduction of process management "Subscription and delivery of periodicals" within the framework of quality management system.
