OREANDA-NEWS. On October 22, 2007 JSC “Kostromaenergo” (JSC “IDGC of the  Center” service area) received one of the main documents of production activity, i.e. Operability Certificate for 20072008 autumn and winter period, reported the press-centre of “Kostromaenergo”.

The decision on the above stated was approved by the following committee members: Sergei Schumacher, Deputy General Director – Technical Director of JSC “IDGC of the Center” and Olga Zuykova, Head of Technical Inspection Department of JSC “IDGC of the Center”, Evgeny Smirnov, Deputy General Director for Technical Issues – Chief Engineer of JSC “Kostromaenergo”, Alexander Zavedeev, Head of Regional Center of Centerenergotekhnadzor, Alexander Drozdov, Coordinator of Technical Inspection Department of JSC “IDGC of the Center” of the eastern sector, Mikhail Palkin, Deputy Director for Informational Technologies of JSC “SO-CDC UES” affiliate RGC. The representatives from controlling authorities approved the issuance of Operability Certificate to JSC “Kostromaenergo” according to activity results for 9 months.

Sergei Schumacher signed the check-up act during the committee meeting. Sergei Schumacher said, while giving Operability Certificate to Alexander Glebov, Head of JSC “Kostromaenergo”: “Kostroma region is the northern company of our service area, Kostroma power engineers are among the first who will receive Operability Certificate, which shows accomplished huge activities, concentration, skills, financial and human resources”.

Kostroma power engineers performed major efforts in order to provide stage and reliable power supply during the most important season of the company activity. All activities were accomplished according to the schedule. 1127 hectares along HVL were cleared out of vegetation. 27,8 hectares of 110 kV HVL were widened compared to 23 hectares planned. The repairing of 71 35-100 kV substation equipment was completed. 763 km of 11-0,4 kV grids were repaired, as well 1390 insulators were replaced.

Apart from that, 467 km of 10-0,4 kV lines and 148 transformer substations, which were operated by municipal companies, will be purchased.  4 maintenance units, equipped with transport, protective equipment in order to provide grid operation, were founded for such purposes.

The operability Certificates to autumn and winter period were awarded to executives of Central, Gaysk, Neysk, Sharinsk production departments in view of accomplishment of committee work on check-up of JSC “Kostromaenergo” production departments and signing proper documents on October 22.  Alexander Glebov, Deputy General Director – Managing Director of JSC “Kostromaenergo” said: “It was difficult to prepare grid complex for operation during peak loads. The activities were held during industry restructuring process, but we managed to accomplish them successfully. The equipment is ready to operate during peak loads. The reliable power supply will be provided to our customers”.
