KAMAZ Sending Vehicles to Angola
OREANDA-NEWS. KAMAZ has presented its production at the industrial exhibition Filda-2007 in the capital of Angola Luanda, the company's press service reports. Nowadays, there is a building boom in Angola. The country is rich in minerals and actively develops its extractive industry. Many international companies paid attention to Angola. In its turn, KAMAZ expands its product outlets: enters new markets and resumes work in the countries where KAMAZ automobile equipment had earlier been exported.
2007 became a year of successful work for KAMAZ in Angola - 215 vehicles had been sold by October's beginning there. For the whole period since 1976 till the present time, over 230 KAMAZ vehicles had been delivered to Angola. All-wheel KAMAZ vehicles for close road conditions are best-sellers in Angola. Truck tractors KAMAZ-43108 (6x6), side vehicles KAMAZ-43114 (6x6) and KAMAZ-43118 (6x6) and special equipment on their chassis, special buses KAMAZ-4208 (6x6) and vehicles of the promising Mustang family have lately been shipped to this country.
For eight years on end KAMAZ receives the title "The Best Russian Exporter". The plant sells its production actively and organizes assembly plants in Eastern Europe, Africa, Southeast Asia, Middle East, and in the CIS countries. 11230 trucks were sold in 2006 on foreign markets (8,5 thousand units in 2005). The company's largest product markets are Kazakhstan and Ukraine.
