SibCOTES Is in the TOP 200 List of the Largest Companies
OREANDA-NEWS. JSC SibCOTES (member of E4 Group) was included in TOP 200 List of the largest companies in the Novosibirsk Region based on the turnover for 2006. The rating was presented by Expert Siberia, regional business magazine, and it included the regional companies that work in different industrial sectors - construction, trade, housing and public utilities, industry and others.
SibCOTES ranked 107 in the List. The Company revenue for 2005 was 499.8 million roubles, for 2006 - 678,8 million roubles (growth rate is 35.8%). The elaboration of the Development Strategies for Magadanenergo and Kolymaenergo became one of the largest projects for 2006. For the first time within the framework of RAO UES of Russia the following works were carried out simultaneously: examination and analysis of the condition of the existing equipment owned by the energy utilities – energy audit, personnel audit, financial and economic as well as legal analysis of the activity of energy enterprises based on the programs of social and economic development of the region, preparation of the forecast for the development of electricity and heat market, elaboration of the strategy options for further development.
In 2006 SibCOTES’ specialists developed preliminary Technical and Economical Assessment for the construction of power generating facilities at Kuznetskaya CHP plant and Serovskaya power plant. The works for design of fuel handling system, steam boilers and control system at Zheleznogorskaya CHP plant within the program for Elimination of Plutonium Production on reactor ADE-2 and construction of substitute sources (Rosatomstroy, Washington Group) are still in progress.
The Company implemented commissioning works on processing equipment at CHP plant owned by the Siberian Chemical Association in Seversk (Rosatomstroy, Raytheon), the project for expansion of CHP plant at Achinsk Alumina Refinery with the installation of turbine PT-90/120, as well as commissioning of boiler E-220-3 at CHP plant owned by Chelyabinsk Metallurgical Works (EPC contract).
According to the forecast, in 2007 the revenue of the Company will be more than 1 billion roubles.
