OREANDA-NEWS. On October 23, 2007 KAMAZ held a conference “Prospects of Global and Russian Hydrocarbon Production”, reported the press-centre of KAMAZ.

The round-table conference dealt with different aspects of the large-scale industrial sector – from national measures of the Russian fuel-energy complex and hydrocarbon production problems to high processing technologies.

The conferees discussed the Euro-3 standard which calls for a new technical level of the engine and high quality of fuels and lubricants.

Rafinat Yarullin, Director General of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Inc., assured that the Tatarstan enterprises are almost ready to produce diesel fuel of high quality for KAMAZ engines of the Euro-3 international ecological standard (the plant plans to produce them since the beginning of 2008).
