OREANDA-NEWS. Nitrogen, oxygen and cold production plant of JSC Kazanorgsintez now boasts of new air compressor 3R3MSG-Alpha of COOPER (USA) setup of which was finished and it was put into service, the press service of the company announced. High pressure air capacity of this compressor is 7200 nm3/hr.

This unit is intended for air supply for process shops, mainly for product packing for HDPE and LDPE plants and for Butene-1 and Bis-Phenol A plants. New COOPER compressor commissioning is the next stage of retrofit and development program for nitrogen, oxygen and cold production plant. The program is planned to be finished in 2009. The Program's aim is to increase plant capability for cryogenic products production: gaseous nitrogen up to 40 thousands m3/hr, liquid argon up to 260 kg/hr and liquid oxygen - up to 4 tons/hour.
