OREANDA-NEWS. The other day at nitrogen, oxygen and cold production plant of JSC Kazanorgsintez startup of new air compressor "3R3MSG-Alpha" of "COOPER" (USA) was finished and it was pit into service. High pressure air capacity of this compressor is 7200 nm3/hr.

This unit is intended for air supply for process shops, mainly for product packing for HDPE and LDPE plants as for Butene-1 and Bis-Phenol A plants.

New COOPER compressor commissioning is the next stage of retrofit and development program for nitrogen, oxygen and cold production plant. This program is planned to be finished at 2009. Program aim is to increase plant capability for cryogenic products production: gaseous nitrogen up to 40 thousands m3/hr, liquid argon up to 260 kg/hr and liquid oxygen – up to 4 tons/hour.
