OREANDA-NEWS. Shareholders of Murmansk Shipping Company disapprove attraction of credit for $128 million at VTB Severo-Zapad (former Industrial Construction Bank). The proposal was supported by 0.23% of shareholders. The credit was supposed to be taken for construction of four 75,000-dwt sea-going dry cargo carriers in Chin. As of today, the company’s fleet consists of 310 vessels with total deadweight of some 2 million tonnes. The company operates eight icebreakers and on nuclear lighter carrier. Besides, Murmansk Shipping Company owns two diesel-electric icebreakers.
