Bank TuranAlem Commissions First Block of High Vill Astana
OREANDA-NEWS. On October 22, 2007 Bank TuranAlem JSC (Almaty), securities of which are traded in Kazakhstan stock exchange's (KASE) category "A" official list had provided KASE with the press-release in which the following is informed, reported the press-centre of KASE:
On October 20 an A Block, the first in a set of six blocks being under construction within housing estate High Vill Astana was unveiled. High Vill Astana is a major construction project in the capital city of Kazakhstan. Against the background of real estate market crisis, the successful commissioning of ready accommodation by a South Korean company has once again confirmed that High Vill Kazakhstan is a reliable partner discharging its quality obligations to clients and meeting deadlines.
Officials from Kazakhstan and South Korea, parliament members and businessmen, clients and journalists have attended the unveiling ceremony. Thus, almost 40 journalists have arrived from South Korea to cover the event.
High Vill Astana project is estimated at nearly USD1,35 billion. Meanwhile, the first stage, A Block, costs USD127 million.
JSC Bank TuranAlem has lent over USD20 million for construction of High Vill Astana and extended loans within the project to 43 clients for a total of USD11,7 million.
