OREANDA-NEWS. Deputy Prime Minister – Financial Minister of Republic of Uzbekistan (RU) Rustam Azimov received in the Ministry of Finance a representative delegation of Joint Stock Company Stroytransgaz headed by the first vice president of the company Leonid Bokhanovskiy. An agreement was reached during the meeting on transferring of construction of propane – butane production unit at Mubarek Gas Treatment Plant into a practical stage.  Realization of the project is planned to be started till the end of the current year. 

The meeting was joined in by Head of Development Fund of Republic of Uzbekistan R.Gulyamov, First Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of RU G.Saidova, First Deputy Chairman of National Holding Uzbekneftegaz Sh.Mazhitov, as well as by Ambassador of Russian Federation in Uzbekistan F.Mukhametshin.

During the meeting the Uzbek side stated that construction of the unit was an economically sound project for the republic, realization of which would enable to export the liquid gas. R.Azimov expressed satisfaction on cooperation with Stroytransgaz that was successfully realizing large-scale projects in the oil and gas field not only in Russia, but in many countries of the world as well. He also emphasized that construction of the unit at Mubarek Gas Treatment Plant was only the first step in the pipeline of projects which could be realized with participation of Stroytransgaz, one of the major Russian companies in the field of oil and gas construction, for the benefit of development of Russian-Uzbek business partnership.
