OREANDA-NEWS. The certificate is valid for five years, reported the press-centre of Rosenergoatom.  

The Labor Ministry’s Resolution on Certification of Labor Protection Activities at Organizations says that the activities of labor protection services and employers for ensuring safe labor conditions at their organizations are subject to certification: this includes training and testing of personnel and certification of their workplaces.

The chairman of the commission, the deputy head of the certification service of VNIIAES Marina Makeicheva said: “We have very positive impression of the work of Kola NPP. The work of the personnel is well organized and all of the employee enjoy favorable labor conditions. The personnel of Kola NPP work for the sake of their company and each employee feels himself responsible for the general cause. We have inspected the plant and have seen that its labor protection system meets all necessary standards. That’s why we have decided to grant the plant a five-year certificate.”

The experts inspected all the plant’s departments, particularly, they checked up the labor conditions in the turbine, reactor and chemical departments, visited the electric and centralized repair departments, inspected the emergency response management system.
