OREANDA-NEWS. On October 19, 2007 representatives of the Rosenergoatom Purchase Planning and Tender Procedures Department, the logistic departments of REA nuclear power plants and other REA divisions took part in the meeting, reported the press-centre of Rosenergoatom.  

The conferees discussed how to improve the efficiency of the logistic support of the REA nuclear power plants as timely and effective logistic support is a guarantee of effective operation and maintenance of existing plants and quick and effective construction of new ones.

The deputy director for development Igor Myshletsov outlined the key priorities of Atomenergoprom, a company established as a result of reforms in the nuclear sector.

The head of the Purchase Planning and Tender Procedures Department Oleg Russkikh reported on the results of the measures for conducting centralized tenders for selecting suppliers of logistic services.

The conferees heard a report on the ways to improve interaction among the logistic departments of the REA central office and branches.

The conferees also discussed how to improve the system of control of the quality of equipment and to ensure its effective acceptance by relevant structures as well as project of corporate information system in the field of purchase planning.

The next meeting is scheduled for Feb 2008. During the meeting the Council will sum up the results of the past year and outline plans for the next one.
