OREANDA-NEWS. Ukrsotsbank during 9 months of 2007 increased its net assets share in the rating of Ukrainian banks, reported the press-centre of Ukrsotsbank.

As of October 1, 2007 the Ukrsotsbank share increased by 0,2% to 5,4%, which corresponds to the fourth position in the rating of the Ukrainian banks. As of October 1, 2007, Ukrsotsbank net assets made EUR 27,2 billion.

According to Ukrsotsbank Chairman, Borys Tymonkin, Ukrsotsbank implements a strategy of net assets aggressive increase.

“According to our preliminary plans, the net assets following the results of the year have to exceed EUR 30 billion”, Borys Tymonkin says. - However, the situation on foreign markets, which have actually closed for domestic borrowers from emerging markets, could adjust our plans. Obstacles with foreign funding could make our net assets reach UAH 28.5 - 29.5 billion, following the results of the year".

Ukrsotsbank is active in markets of legal and natural persons crediting. The Bank’s presence in this segment increased to 4,1% (+0,7 p.p.) and 9,1% (+0,2  p.p.) respectively.
