OREANDA-NEWS. In September 2007, S7 Airlines was once again the first in the rating for the most punctual airlines performing flights from Domodedovo Moscow International Airport. For proper comparison of all indicators, all airlines are divided to three groups based on the number of flights performed. In September, S7 Airlines carried out 1,944 flights and was the first in category one with regularity level of 84.26 percent, having distinctly outpaced competitors, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

The high regularity indicator was attained owing to S7 Group services’ teamwork, including Airlines Flight Control Center competent functioning. As compared with the previous summer, S7 has notably decreased the failure situations number and aircraft types’ substitution, since previous year experience has been considered upon scheduling and recourses have been distributed optimally.

”Flights’ regularity is one of the most important indicators of all airline services’ work quality. Passengers are very oversensitive in responding to every flight delay, and consider take off timeliness one of the most important indicators of the carrier’s level”, Vladislav Filev, General Director of OAO “Siberia Airlines” /S7 Airlines/notes. “S7 Airlines is not going to leave the achieved behind and will continue improving work technologies, increasing flights regularity and passenger servicing level”, he concludes.

S7 Airlines is the biggest airline in Russian internal air routes and enters the segment of ТОР-50 world air-carriers. In 2006, S7 Airlines performed more than 40 thousand flights with 4,9 Mio passengers and more than 28 Thos. tons of cargo and mail carried thereon.

In the end of September, S7 Airlines received an official IATA notification on airline including to IOSA (IATA Operational Safety Audit) register of operators and became the second air-carrier in Russia having successfully passed the entire procedure of international audit on compliance with operational safety standards.
